Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell (nee Robertson born 27th March, 1970. She is 5' 9 tall. is an American actor who is famous for her portrayals as Dr. Juliet Burke on ABC's television series Lost and also as FBI Agent Erica Evans on V. She's appeared in films such like The Santa Clause 2 The Santa Clause. The Escape Clause and Gia. Mitchell co-stars with Eric Kripke in the television show Revolution which airs on NBC. Mitchell's stepfather Joseph Day Mitchell and mother Josephine Marian Mitchell (nee Jenkins) are both lawyers who reside in Dallas. Mitchell as well as her mother emigrated to Dallas Texas in 1970 where her mother got married to Joseph Mitchell in 1975. Mitchell was a student at Booker T. Washington High School of the Performing and Visual Arts which is a magnet public high school. Mitchell is the eldest of her three sisters; her two sisters are Kristina Kristie Mitchell and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. Mitchell received a bachelor of fine arts in acting at Stephens College in 1991. She was also a student at the British American Drama Academy.
