Awkwafina
American actor and musician Awkwafina debuted with sly lyrics that tackled issues of racial identity and sexuality with the most outrageous comedy perspective prior to expanding her reach into Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her initial music experience. She performed on the trumpet. Her classical, jazz and hip-hop education began when she was just a teenager. At college, she concentrated in her studies, pursuing a degree in women's journalism and the arts. While spending a few days of time in Beijing, she also studied Mandarin. Following graduation, she decided to focus on music. After making headlines on the Internet Her My Vag song My Vag was a reaction to the song of Mickey Avalon's My Dick. It eventually made its way onto her first album Yellow Ranger. The album featured other viral hits like the body-positive Queef and winking hometown tour NYC Bitche$. The latter track was linked into another venture Awkwafina's NYC A travel guide that was released in 2015. After establishing herself as a performer and author and a writer, she was able to accept the roles of actor. Apart from early series like Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films like Neighbors 2. Storks as well as Bad Rap. In 2018, she scored breakthrough roles in a handful of prominent films such as Dude ocean's 8.8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she published the EP in Fina We Trust.
